Ingredients
- 12.5 oz 93% lean ground turkey
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 0.5 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 3 tbsp parmesan, grated
- 1.5 oz mozzarella, shredded
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Mix the ground turkey with the panko, egg, parmesan, and Italian seasoning until just combined, then roll into about 12 meatballs.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high and brown the meatballs on all sides for 5 minutes, turning gently.
- Pour the marinara around the meatballs, cover, and simmer 8 to 10 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through and no longer pink inside.
- Scatter the mozzarella over the top, cover, and cook 2 minutes more until melted and bubbling.
