Ingredients
- 11 oz sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1.5 medium bell pepper, sliced
- 2/3 cup onion, sliced
- 1.75 cups cooked white rice
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Slice the sirloin thinly against the grain. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over high until shimmering, add the beef in a single layer, and sear 2 minutes without stirring until browned, then remove.
- Add the bell pepper and onion to the same skillet and stir-fry 3 to 4 minutes until crisp-tender and lightly charred.
- Add the minced garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant, then return the beef and pour in the soy sauce.
- Toss 1 minute until glazed, then serve over the warm white rice.
