Pan-seared boneless thighs glazed in a sticky honey-garlic sauce, served over brown rice — big flavor from pantry staples.
Ingredients
- 14 oz boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1.25 cups cooked brown rice
- 0.25 tsp fine salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry and season with the salt and black pepper. Sear in the olive oil over medium-high for 5 minutes per side until deeply golden and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, stir together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Reduce the heat to medium, pour the honey-garlic mixture into the pan, and simmer 2 to 3 minutes, spooning it over the thighs, until the sauce reduces to a sticky glaze that coats the chicken.
- Slice the thighs and serve over the warm brown rice, drizzling any remaining glaze on top.
