Flaky salmon lacquered in a sweet-and-spicy honey sriracha glaze with steamed broccoli and brown rice — a fast dinner with a kick.

Ingredients

  • 2 fillets salmon fillets
  • 1.5 tbsp honey
  • 1.3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2.5 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice

Instructions

  1. Whisk the honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and minced garlic together into a glaze. Pat the salmon dry and season lightly with salt.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high and sear the salmon skin-side up for 3 minutes until golden, then flip and cook 2 to 3 minutes more until it flakes easily.
  3. Meanwhile, steam the broccoli in a covered pot with a splash of water for 4 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.
  4. Pour the honey sriracha glaze into the pan around the salmon and simmer 1 minute, spooning it over, until it thickens and coats the fish. Serve with the broccoli and brown rice.
